There is no downtime associated with chin filler treatment, though you may experience slight swelling and bruising. This will relax after a couple of days.

Our doctors will remind you of the aftercare advice at appointments. Things to avoid after treatment include:

Wearing makeup for 12 hours after having any injections
Exposure to extreme temperatures until redness and swelling subsides – no saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds or sun exposure
Strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment
Alcohol for 24 hours minimum after treatment
Massage or manipulation of the treated area
