Treatment usually takes 30-45 minutes. You may experience slight swelling and redness afterwards but this will go down within a couple of days.

FAQs about Cheek Fillers

As with all treatments it is expected that you will experience some slight discomfort throughout the procedure.

For anti-wrinkle injections, we use very very small insulin needles and most patients do not even feel them!
For fillers, we use strong numbing cream and premium fillers contain numbing agents that reduce the discomfort.
Our expert doctors use advanced techniques to minimise the chance of swelling or bruising after the treatment.

Dermal fillers can last up to 12 months, but again this can depend on a number of factors, including those mentioned above.
If treatment is maintained regularly, you will notice that the effects begin to last longer as your body gets used to it and doesn’t break it down as quickly
As all individuals are different, make sure you discuss any questions you have at the consultation with your doctor

Our doctors will remind you of the aftercare advice at appointments. Things to avoid after treatment include:

Wearing makeup for 12 hours after having any injections
Exposure to extreme temperatures until redness and swelling subsides – no saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds or sun exposure
Strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment
Alcohol for 24 hours minimum after treatment
Massage or manipulation of the treated area

Dermal filler treatments show immediate results that continue to improve over the next 2-4 weeks
